According to the Mosque Studies
Center’s report, President Hassan Rouhani delivered his speech in occasion of
the Global Day of Mosque. Rouhani said: the biter memory of firing of Al-Aqsa
in 49 years back demonstrated irresponsibility of Israel to none of the
humanitarian and social principles.
President of the Islamic Republic
of Iran emphasized on the role of mosque in Islamic society during the history
of Islamic civilization and said: ‘’Mosque is vital for us. Creation of the Islamic
cities was dependent to existence of mosque. It has been the place of science,
politics and worship’’
Rouhani introduced mosque as the
vital element for unity of the Muslims world and said: ‘’ we shouldn’t allow
mosques to be the center of division but it is the symbol of unity for Muslims.
Unfortunately, today some of mosques are changed to the center for fostering
and training for terrorists under leading of their Imam. This is the clear
instance of Zerar Mosque conecept in Islam which is not acceptable for us. ‘’
Iran’s President emphasised on
peaceful nature of mosque and said: ‘’ mosque is not the place of oppression, aggression
and violence but it is the place for Islamic politics and consultation of
Muslims for resolving their world’s problems. This is such pattern which was in
Imam Khomeini’s thought during the Islamic Revolution of Iran process.
All nuclear negotiators were
supported by me and the Supreme Leader
President Rouhani described the
process of nuclear negotiations during past two years briefly and said: ‘’ we
could success under support of mosques, the Supreme Leader and people of Iran. We
passed an incompliant way to achieve the nuclear deal by negotiations. When I attended
the UN’s General Assembly around two years back as the representative of
Iranian nation, I recommended the world naked of violence theory and asked the General
Assembly to approve it. Just a few month later, the Secretary General of UN
approved it behalf of other nations. It was not acceptable for some states from
Iran to recommend this theory because during 12 years back, they tried to
introduce Iran as a terrorist state in order to isolate us while they were
defeated and the representatives of 50 states were presented in oath-taking ceremony
which was held in Iran’s Parliament. It was a good mail to those states who
thought Iran is isolated.’’
Rouhani stipulated: ‘’ these, all
demonstrates that we have to use unity, integration, policy and hope to achieve
victory again’’
