About 450 thousand Muslim worshipers on Monday have traveled to Jerusalem to revive Al-Qadr holy night.

Unprecedented numbers were present despite Israeli restrictions, which allowed entrance only for women above 30 and men above 50.

Israeli forces Monday morning have intensified their police units around the Noble Sanctuary (Al-Aqsa mosque) in the old city of Jerusalem, in preparation for the night.

(In Islamic belief, Laylat Al-Qadr (The night of power) is the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad. It is one of the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan.)
